OpombeI gave myself a 4 observer rating due to experience with celestial navigation, rather than being an astronomer.I was driving northbound on Sooner Rd (the local road grid is laid out in cardinal directions) and saw the flash bearing ~355 true. Short trace, ending only a few degrees above the horizon. Upon reflection, I suspect I called initial and terminal elevations too high in filling this web form.Flash was slender at top growing bigger with descent; I suspect I saw the entire event from first incandescence to breakup, and that the event was very distant. Breakup of meteor was apparent by sparklies in flash. Duration was short - tenths of a second. Terminal explosion appeared stationary and symmetrical.Hard-to-describe chlorine-green color; also gave the impression of an electric arc. I was surprised not to see any expected ‘fire’ reds and yellows. Was a clear bright day - must have been a very bright event.
